Fushimi Restaurant is arguably one of the best places on Staten Island for fresh sushi and sashimi. We ordered a large Deluxe platter for our group, which gave us the chance to sample a wide variety of fish—and everything tasted exceptionally fresh. We also tried the oysters, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. The Fushimi Signature Roll and the Sunset Boulevard Roll were both standout items—very flavorful and beautifully prepared. During my visit, several customers were loud, disruptive, and inconsiderate of others around them, making it difficult to enjoy my time there. After my visit, I looked through other reviews and noticed that several customers had reported negative experiences as well.
