heard about this place on youtube for their special steamed thai hainanese chicken (small) for $6.50 in cash and it was SOO worth it. i substituted the ginger rice for regular white rice since i got scared the ginger might super prominent but heard it’s a good taste so will definitely try it when i visit new york again! the only thing i wished was definitely maybe a little bit more portion of the chicken. Gai Chicken is seriously impressive, especially at this price point. It’s crazy to get chicken this tender, juicy, and flavorful for around $10 for a large portion, or about $7 for a small after tax.
