I’m very pleased with the inventive new menu at Gen! The smaller dishes — you could call them Japanese tapas — are creative and delicious. The Mini Ochazuke bowl features small pieces of sushi fish over rice and is a great value. The Crab Bomber is a delightful pairing of warm, crunchy rice and the rich taste of crab. They are extremely slow. I ordered through DoorDash, and it seemed like they had received the order well in advance; however, when I arrived to pick it up, it wasn't ready yet. It didn't even look like they were busy there were only two tables seated, and that was it.
