Honestly the most consistently good slice of pizza on the West side of Broadway and 181. They never fail me. I always come here when I want a regular, classic slice of NY pizza. It isn’t a place I’d go out the way to get or anything. But it’s a reliable and great slice place if you live nearby.
Made fresh by hand! Hot and fresh from the oven! Workers are nice and friendly. My place to eat for lunch.
This evening, I ordered a Sicilian pizza from George's Pizza on the Slice app. The pizza came right away as it usually does. I took a bite and noticed a sour smell. I took another bite, and the smell was still there. I then cut off the crust and ate that; it tasted just fine. I then tried a piece of cheese, which tasted fine. There's something wrong with the sauce or the bread that makes it inedible. There is a strong sour smell; maybe they left the sauce or dough out too long, and it went bad.
