During my recent trip I wasn't able to have pizza in the city due to some logistical issues and thought I missed out on pizza this time but then I walked into this corner shop in Astoria and it was the best decision of my trip. The crust was perfect and the cheese had that stretch, and the pizza was just so delicious.
Gia’s Pizza is such a gem near LaGuardia Airport. The owner was friendly, helpful, and very patient. We ordered the Norma pasta with eggplant and a Greek salad to share, and both were incredible. So good I still think about that meal. They also serve pizza, which I can’t wait to try next time. I’m already looking forward to coming back on my next trip to New York.
Worth the travel from the Bronx! Especially in the snow storm!! Pizza is amazing. Service is top notch and they even made us a Nutella pizza. Everything my husband and I have had so far is out of this world. Their vodka parm heros are great, grandma pie chefs kiss, even a plain slice.
