I am extremely concerned about the food quality and food safety practices at Gloria's. On May 29 at approximately 8:43 PM, I ordered a chicken roti. Immediately upon receiving it, I noticed the roti was soggy and the potatoes had an unusual odor. After taking a few bites of the roti skin and chicken, I opened the roti further and discovered that the curry chicken and potatoes were noticeably sour. Food containing chicken should never have a sour smell or taste, and this raised serious concerns
The staff is so RUDE. I came in today 3.5.2026 and waited to be greeted so that someone could take my order. I was the ONLY patron in their establishment. I stood there for a good 5 minutes watching 1 of the ladies come back and forth, doing things like cleaning, etc. She saw me standing there waiting and said nothing. I walked out. I refuse to spend my hard earned money in an establishment with half decent food and POOR attitudes as if they're doing YOU a favor by doing their jobs !
Stopped in because it was one of Anthony Bourdain’s favorite NYC spots and it was a flavorful Caribbean delight. Had the Roti and a slice of the Devine pistachio cake. Cash only and there is an ATM inside. Limited seating so plan to take away
