The staff is wonderful. I am grateful for the service and for their welcoming attitude But unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. My appeal to the owner: please, your establishment urgently needs renovation. Keep the retro concept if you wish, it has charm, but at least repair the ceiling, which is literally falling apart. Please also stop cutting corners on quality. I came specifically for waffles with syrup and was immediately disappointed when I saw the plastic single serve containers
Food improperly handled/ cooked by kitchen staff. I tried to eat it but when I bit into partially raw chicken, I knew it wasn't me. When I mentioned it, it was met with coldness, defensiveness and was treated like I was trying to get out of a bill. Which I wasn't I didn't even ask for it to be taken off the bill. My husband got sick 30 minutes after. I've been queasy for hours. We both had chicken dishes.
I cant believe it took me 4 yrs to stop in here! I moved to the island a few years ago and have heard great things about Dove diner so i finally decided to treat myself to a nice brunch on a random weekday. They have a huge parking lot.
