I usually like to list and review each dish individually, but this visit to Golden Palace was a little different. I attended a lunch party here, and someone else handled all the ordering for the group, so I didn't catch the names of many of the dishes. I was told that most of the staff are Cantonese-speaking and speak limited English, which probably explains why I wasn't able to identify everything that came to the table. That said, I did recognize a few Cantonese restaurant staples, including
Food was absolutely delicious. The Seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Service was a mess, but it was LNY Dinner, so to be expected. Atmosphere was lively. All around a positive experience.
They are very racist. My partner and I were there and asked if they made chicken. They said yes, and then told us it costs 38 dollars and is very expensive. The waitress went to another table, and they started laughing and making fun of us because, in their minds, we didn't have enough money to pay 38 dollars for a chicken.
