I recently visited Gong Cha and had a great experience! The drinks were fresh, flavorful, and made exactly how I like them. I ordered a milk tea with boba, and the pearls were perfectly chewy—not too hard or too soft. They also have a lot of options to customize your drink, like sugar level and ice, which I really appreciate. I ordered their brown sugar milk tea, and it was a complete waste of money. The taste was so bad, like plain water, that I had to throw it in the garbage. I’ve never had such terrible bubble tea in my life. The store was extremely bad—there was a huge line of customers, but their stuff wasn’t even ready. They were still making the black pearls while continuously taking more orders. The wait was endless, and after all that, the bubble tea was so awful. Completely wasted my money.
I always come to Gongcha at the Staten Island Mall and order the Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea—it’s hands down the best drink I’ve ever had! The quality is consistently amazing, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for any bubble tea lover!
