Two slices and a can of soda for $6? Can’t beat those prices in Manhattan! And to top it off, the pizza is actually decent! The crust is flaky and airy, filled with panko crispy. They only serve pizza, garlic knots, and some salad. No wings or extra items to order. A few tables inside to enjoy. No bathrooms tho.
Gotham Pizza was not our first choice but it was the closest spot to us and we were super hungry. It is a typical New York style slice but they use cornmeal on the crust which makes it crunchier. Personally, I like being able to fold my slice and here the crust cracks instead because of the crunch. That said, the toppings were fresh and very tasty. Overall, it did its job. Easily the best pizza I've had in America, granted I've only had 2 places in New York but I've had many elsewhere and this takes the cake no problem. My friend who lives in New York agreed this is the best place they have had, too. Prices were incredibly reasonable, too.
