I purchased a scone this morning from a Gregory’s Coffee location in Midtown Manhattan. While I was eating it, I noticed multiple visible patches of mold (green/blue and dark spots) inside the product. I had already consumed part of the scone before realizing it was contaminated. This is a ready-to-eat baked item, and selling moldy food is a serious food safety violation. This raises concerns about improper storage, expired products, or lack of quality checks at this location. I have attached a
It's a handy spot for a quick coffee run. I tried both the oat milk cappuccino and the oat milk latte. The cappuccino was a bit too hot for my taste, which made it difficult to enjoy right away. On the other hand, the oat milk latte was quite good and met my expectations.
Excellent service; the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely and pleasant. The coffee is delicious and I highly recommend the ham and cheese croissant.
