I’ve been coming to Güllüoğlu Cafe on Brighton Beach for number of years. First reason is the name - Güllüoğlu - which is synonymous with oldest and bestest Turkish baklava world ever known. If you have yet to visit Istanbul in person or if you miss Istanbul then it’s the closest thing to you here in NYC. Second reason is the location. Amazing coffee, great desserts, and really good baked goods. Everyone who works here is always so nice, friendly, and helpful. This is my regular place for coffee, and it’s consistently good every time. Always a very pleasant experience.
