It’s been a while since I’ve had a “first bite” as eye opening as these dishes had me. Every dish order was so EXCEPTIONAL I wanted to go back the next day. The fried intestine is INCREDIBLE! Guobaorou serves delicious, authentic northeastern-style Chinese cooking! We tried both the eggplant with minced meat and the triple delight, and both were incredibly flavorful and well-executed. Just a heads up that the dishes left us feeling pretty thirsty afterward, so they might be heavy on the MSG. Also, the rice here leans quite sticky and wet, which wasn't my personal preference. Tip: Don't forget to bring cash to take advantage of their cash discount
We found this place last Sunday evening after a day in the city. My girl wanted me to experience more authentic style food than I’m used to in Florida and I’m so glad that we found this restaurant, I always stay in Flushing and she lives very close to this restaurant and it was the perfect place for a second date! The food was absolutely amazing, fresh, well seasoned and enough to share from each dish! The service was great and the place is quite cozy, it was the first time here for both of us
