A very intimate chef's counter experience. Some of the food portions looks too much, but each part balances the plate, especially if you do the sake pairing. Very friendly staff.
I’m already thinking of going back—yes! I love their attention to detail. They don’t overload the dishes with seasoning or sauces, and each course is prepared with the freshest ingredients and exceptional skill. From start to finish, the entire meal was outstanding. Their service and the thoughtful descriptions of each course were impossible to miss. They truly bring Japan to NYC. I would say they’re on their way to becoming a three-star restaurant, slowly but surely.
