Overall an okay experience with some notable issues. The rooms are dated but clean, and if you're on a higher floor, be prepared to wait longer for elevators. The lobby and floors were also clean, and the staff throughout was very friendly. Breakfast has a good variety of options, but vegetarian choices are very limited and there's nothing vegan even the waffle batter contains eggs, so keep that in mind if you have dietary restrictions. Amazing hotel! I don’t expect much when I get to NYC and am used to tiny rooms and ambivalent service. This hotel exceeded our expectations—clean, well located, etc. but the best part was the service. The staff truly went above and beyond during our stay. Everyone was kind, helpful, and pleasant. They went above and beyond to welcome our kids, help us get a taxi, explaining things, etc. We will return!
Really nice hotel. We had a great experience from start to finish. Miriam at the front office who checked us in, Clifton on the door who was always very welcoming and Roberta who cleaned our room. Everyone was super friendly, kind and helpful. We got some great recommendation for local foods and restaurants. The breakfast had a wide selection from cold and hot.
