Stumbled upon this cozy and delightful resto. Got one of the lunch specials - a Banh Mi roasted pork sandwich and mint tea. Perfect on a blustery fall day. Every yummy sandwich starts with good bread and theirs is freshly baked and slightly crusty and holds up to the meat and veggies in between. They don’t hold back either. Great consistent banhmi sandwich and bubble tea! I order from here almost every week and the food quality is really good and the price is very reasonable for lunch. Nothing about the boba stands out as "amazing" but it's a decent texture with a nice tea flavour.
TL;DR: Good banh mi, okay service, roach. Prior to the pandemic I was a regular patron of both Downtown Brooklyn Hanco’s locations. Today was my first time visiting in more than four years and it did not live up to the nostalgic hype. I ordered two banh mi’s and three bubble teas and the total was $46.
