I only came from the limited Genshin event and that was it. While I am aware of this place's mixed reviews, my experience there wasn't too shabby: the cashier who took my order was friendly and the tea, while isn't the best, is solid overall. That said, there are better milk/boba tea places in Flushing like Gong Cha, Coco Tea and Machi Machi in Tangram. It's not the best but certainly not the worst in my opinion.
I love happy lemon! I first had it several years ago in the bay area and got completely addicted. I have since had it at multiple locations in the bay area, Boston, Australia, and now at two different locations in Flushing! Unfortunately as far as I know, there is no happy lemon in Manhattan, which only means that every time I come to flushing, I have to stop by a happy lemon location to get my fix! Checked out this spot as it was one of the only places in New Flushing Mall that took Apple pay. Though the drink was expensive, it was actually pretty good. I chose to get the feature drink because the pics of it sold me and it looked pretty tasty. I don't know if I'd pay $8 again for it, but it was pretty good, and that cup was HUGE. I couldn't finish it so I had my boyfriend finish it for me.
