Hands down one of the most satisfying fried chicken sandwiches you can find in Brooklyn. The chicken is perfectly crisp with a light, crunchy coating that never feels heavy. What really stands out is the consistency. I have been ordering from here for years and the quality has never dropped, even after I moved farther away. It is the kind of place you keep coming back to because you know exactly how good it will be every single time.
What a great find, the food & service were excellent. The other customers were friendly & made us very welcome. The only down side was passers by using the facilities & leaving them in a mess. We would definitely make our way there again
The Ale House is a great place to go to have a few beers by yourself at the bar or with friends. It has a great selection—I'm partial to IPAs, and what's on offer changes frequently. The staff I know—the bartender Frank, the server Renae, and Eugene, who does both—are fine people and very friendly.
