This place reminds me of a Jon Taffer quote from Bar Rescue- “You walk by this every day!” He yells this at an employee referring to a broken piece of furniture that’s never been addressed over the years. The zhajiangmian (soybean paste noodles) were a total hit: the rich, savory paste coated every chewy strand perfectly, with fragrant scallions adding that extra zing. The beef noodle soup? Its broth was deep and flavorful, and the tender beef slices melted in my mouth. Then the wonton noodle soup: plump, juicy wontons paired with light, clear broth made it such a refreshing bite. Hi Sunny Restaurant Salad & Dimsum — The atmosphere was lovely, the service was excellent, and the place itself was cute and charming. It’s located right across from Five guys Burger , easy to spot since it’s the only shop unit there. I went today wanting to have beef, but they didn’t have any, so I ordered pork instead. The dish was a Chinese-style noodle soup with pork that was either stir-fried or lightly fried before being added to the broth — pretty decent. The noodles were good too, though
