I stayed at Tempo by Hilton and ended up eating at Highball a few times. My overall experience was mixed. The standout item for me was the Halloumi Bowl. It’s one of the better vegetarian options on the menu, tastes fresh, and has a decent portion size. That said, like most things here, it’s priced higher than I think it should be. The restaurant is very pretty. The location is great , it’s right in Time Square. The menu is very poor though: only 4 dishes for entree: salmon, chicken, burger and steak. We ordered steak and burger. They were good. Tuna tartar was good as well. Portions are not big. Price wise - the entrees are )30-35. What annoyed me big time is that the gratuity was already included in the bill. Why????? Nowhere it said on the menu that the gratuity would be included .. So just be aware of that. I believe i
The over priced food was okay not worth the price. The service was very lacking. They don't need to provide good service since they already add a 22% gratuity to your bill. The only reason we will return would be to use up our Hilton diamond credit if we keep our upcoming reservation at the Tempo.
