Amazing food and consistently great quality! I’m never disappointed when I eat at Hinomaru. The ramen is always rich, flavorful, and comforting. On my most recent visit, I tried the Salmon Don, and it was incredibly fresh, light, and delicious—perfect for warmer weather. Whether you’re craving a hearty bowl of ramen or something refreshing, Hinomaru always delivers. Highly recommended!
3.5 stars which is decent. We ordered two vegetable ramens and one chicken ramen. The vegetable ramen was in a much smaller bowl than the chicken ramen. The chicken ramen was a lot of broth and not much else to it. Overall they were decent/good. The broths taste weren’t great, but decent. I had far better Ramen at other places. The service was very attentive.
If you are looking for a solid bowl of ramen in Astoria, I highly recommend checking out HinoMaru Ramen. I dropped in for a solo dinner and had a great experience. The ambiance is pretty chill and not overly noisy, plus they have open seats available outside if you prefer. Just a quick heads-up that the indoor chairs might be a bit uncomfortable for bigger people, though they were totally fine for me.
