Happy we finally got to try it out, but not dying to come back anytime soon. The Gorgonzola bread is def worth the hype; the burger was good but definitely have had better. Actually really enjoyed the cauliflower app. If you’re looking for a downtime vibe but uptown, this is a great spot for that. Definitely loud so don’t come to catch up with people 😝.
I went to Hoexter's on a date on a Monday evening. It was busy but there were two seats at the bar which the lovely hostess graciously pointed out. The two bartenders (male and female) were absolutely stellar. We ate at the bar. The steak tartare was delicious. Other places claim to have good steak tartare but so many are actually mediocre. After 4 dinners here, the food is genuinely phenomenal!! I had a bad experience with the hostess at my recent visit. The activity prior to dinner ended a bit earlier than expected so we arrived at the restaurant about 25 minutes before my reservation time. After about 20 minutes of waiting I could see the restaurant was packed and just wanted to check how timing was looking on our table, I asked the hostess very nicely.
