Just tried the chicken shawarma sandwich from Holy Pita and it absolutely hit the spot. The pita was warm, soft, and perfectly toasted, holding a generous portion of juicy, well-seasoned chicken shawarma. Every bite had a great balance of textures — crunchy pickles, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, and that creamy garlic sauce that ties everything together. The flavors are bold but super balanced. The tanginess from the pickles, freshness from the veggies, and the rich shawarma seasoning make it in
NOPE. The beef gyro was a dry meat chip. The rice was way too salty, doused in curry powder, and also very dry. The salad smelled and tasted like when something goes rotten in the fridge and the smell seeps into other food. I really wish I could get my money back.
I've been twice for takeout and it's scrumptious. Flavorful and comforting. Shawarma pita sandwich is juicy, fluffy, crunchy, delicious. Sabich one is really delicious as well. My husband has had their shawarma on salad and in the platter and he enjoyed. Their rice pudding is excellent. They are friendly and have a nice picnic table out front and bar stools inside.
