Stylish, art-filled hotel with a rooftop garden & 24-hour refreshments, plus Italian dining.

This is a great hotel with kind service and larger (for NYC) sized rooms. The hotel is in a great location with close by restaurants, subway access and necessity stores without being in the mass chaos of Times Square. The rooms are dated with older phones, alarm clocks and a need for more chargers/ charging stations near the bed. But overall comfortable. The service is good and the light snacks in the lobby are appreciated.
The rooms were modern and very clean. Being able to open the window was key - I want to breathe fresh air and hear the sounds of the city. You don’t feel like you are confined in a closed box. But the window was double paned so it was quiet when closed. The staff was always welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is light but has options so you can begin your day. The location is great, in walking distance of restaurants and a pretty park.
Great location with two very nice restaurants in stone throwing distance. Large suites with comfortable beds. However, for 800 a night even in Manhattan I expected a mini fridge or at least ice available on the floor. So if you are insulin dependent beware. My other gripe is the bedroom TV was a 21 inch which in today's world is mediocre. Worse is that mine shut off and restarted every 30 seconds which made it unusable for me. With the noise of the city I like having the TV on to fall asleep to.
