I love this spot, I’ve been coming here for years. This is the only Jamaican restaurant that I will eat from. It is extremely clean and they are very strict when it comes to cleanliness and I love that. You are required to sanitize your hands and wear gloves that they provide before touching any of the utensils. The food is always excellent and it’s been consistent throughout the years. The customer service has improved ALOT and I was glad to see that on my last visit. I highly recommend.
It's a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is delicious and others, It's not so good. I would frequent this restaurant mainly for cowfoot soup. It was usually decent. I had some over the summer, and it was awful! A friend recommended their stew peas, so I have been going there for stew peas which is decent. I also tried their ribs which were delicious and flavorful the first time. I couldn't stop thinking about them. When I went back for them, they were like straw due to them being over cook
I came in the restaurant for the very first time, I got the Jurk wings which looked good. I was told I have to sanitize my hands which I didn’t know and I apologize. I was done with my order, cashed out and went home. Open up the bag, the plastic lid and watching the wings carful it had feathers 🪶 over them, I had to take off the skin which had feathers over them. I was so highly disappointed and upset. This will be my first and last time going there. Total turn off.
