I went to the Imperial Theatre to see Chess and really enjoyed the experience. The theater has a historic, classic Broadway charm that makes the show feel more special. The acoustics were great and you feel pretty close to the stage, which I loved.✨✨
I went to see Chess. I found this theater to feel larger, have poorer temperature control, and breathe surprisingly smoky. The chandeliers are nice. Because the stage didn’t run super deep, you could see the back from far away and high up. The orchestra along the side could be slightly obstructed. Chess was fun to see.
