My wife and I ordered Mac and cheese. Extremely dry and had no flavor. I had the glazed salmon. Dry as well. I ordered pepper steak but didn’t receive it, just the rice. No one called me to inform me that there was no pepper steak. Maybe it was a bad day to order. But I’m not trying to order again any time soon.
I ordered my food through Uber Eats from island grill. I ordered fried chicken Mac n cheese with steamed veggies and the other order was a curry chicken meal. Got the lunch special with curry goat, rice, beans, and cabbage and the taste was absolutely phenomenal! It's a super affordable local food spot—most of the lunch special options are $7 (I believe the curry goat is the only one that is $9) and you receive a generous portion of meat for the price. The goat was extremely tender, and they poured a spoon of curry over the entire plate so it seeped into the rice, beans, and cabbage.
