Izakaya Fuku in New York was such a great experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a beautiful Japanese-inspired interior that feels warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. I came back after a year and it was even better than the first time. The food was amazing rich, flavorful ramen, perfect karaage, and a cold Asahi beer that tied everything together. The atmosphere and service really make you feel like you’re in Japan, a truly authentic izakaya experience. I had a great time and will definitely be back. 🍜🍺
Worth every penny, which thankfully was a very reasonable price (p.s. cash only). The sushi was extremely fresh, the karage and teriyaki chicken were so moist and tender. The service was friendly and attentive. The vibe was a total bonus, it was what I imagine being in Japan feels like. I love this hidden gem and will definitely be returning.
