Stopped by Jaba in Midtown on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t too busy. Our server was very nice, attentive, and enthusiastic about the menu, emphasizing that the restaurant focuses on elevated Taiwanese cuisine, which is apparently fairly unique in the city. I dined here on Valentine’s Day. It had warm dimmed lighting so it felt cozy. All of the dishes were excellent! We had oysters with caviar and fish crudo. They were both so fresh! We also had a perfectly cooked rib-eye and a grilled mackerel with a side of brussels sprouts.
