Came for fuzhounese breakfast. We didn’t feel like walking all the way to 8th ave, but the taste/quality is quite similar to places there. Got the guobianfu (rice flake soup- believe they labeled it rice paste?) and some pastries. Also got the fuzhounese bamboo with red sauce and pork (google tells Me it’s called red glutinous wine lees in English) to go. It was very good and saved us the hassle of prepping the bamboo and making it.
Food is ok but I question how hygienic they are. While I was there I saw the cashier spit something out into their hand and start flossing her teeth in the open. I wonder if they can do that right in front everyone what are they doing in the back. I know many Chinese restaurant aren’t hygienic, but as long as it is out of site I pretend all is good
