Vietnamese sandwich shop in Tangram's food court offering classic and creative banh mi, plus fries.
From Google Maps reviews.
JoJu is a solid lunch stop that keeps its focus tight and executes within that lane well. The menu centers on banh mi with some rice bowls and drinks rounding things out, and the portions are generous enough that a single sandwich can genuinely feel like more than one meal's worth of food. The banh mi is the main reason to come, and the pork versions are where the kitchen shines most. The caramel pork in particular is worth ordering, with the meat cut down into small pieces that pick up flavor
Got the classic banh mi and a Vietnamese coffee. The best part of the banh mi was undoubtedly the pate. The pate was very tasty and buttery. The meats were very good and the pickled veggies were average. Altogether a very good banh mi. Price was about $11, which is fine for NY. The Viet coffee was pretty good and was $6 for the large. I'll need to try the spring rolls and a different banh mi next time.
Fantastic food. If you’re into Vietnamese food, get the loaded fries, banh mi and lemongrass chicken rice bowl. Also the customer service is great and friendly and knows what they’re doing.
