Cozy neighborhood spot with a welcoming vibe and solid comfort food. The coffee was smooth, the portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. Service was friendly and attentive, making it an easy choice for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. The menu has a good mix of classic favorites and healthier options. A great local spot when you’re craving a casual meal and good coffee. Would definitely come back.
This is my second time coming here and the service is super quick and the food delicious! Very nostalgic of Hong Kong diners I grew up loving with both the classics like instant noodles with ham and egg and also twists on classics like their mini pineapple buns with butter. Super affordable too, strongly recommend!
Just tried Joy’s Cafe and it’s honestly the best HK cafe food we’ve had in NYC so far. We came once, liked it a lot, and came back again to try more. Everything tasted really authentic, and you can actually taste that wok hei, that slightly smoky flavor from high heat cooking that’s hard to find.
