Juici Patties came to the states & I'm here for it. After driving for nearly an hour from Staten Island to Brooklyn to try them, I'm happy to say it was well worth it. Why is that significant? Because I drove 5 hours from MA to Staten Island to visit friends. Then hopped back in the car for the island experience. So no matter what you heard, they taste just like the ones in Jamaica. The staff moves fast & efficiently. And the place smells nostalgic. #ifyouknowyouknow
The Jamaican patty is essentially a set of green flags for me: well spiced, affordable, and portable. I stopped by Juici Patties in Bed-Stuy for their two patty combo with a drink for $9.99. They have a kiosk you can order on which those of us with social anxiety may enjoy, but is admittedly dystopian. I got spicy beef and curry chicken patties and a mango juice which added up to a very orange colored meal. Apparently they also have a bunch of locations in Florida, a red flag I've chosen to igno
I come here often in the morning, and I never get tired of the food. It is always very good. The coco bread is always soft and fresh, which I really appreciate. Even when the place is busy, the service is always fast. The morning crew is great. Nicky is super nic e and always remembers my name. Jayliyah is also very kind, and another lady on the team is always smiling and very friendly. The kitchen crew is also super friendly. Overall, this is a great place with great food and great people.
