KAL Korean Food in Astoria is a great spot if you’re looking for solid Korean food at a really good value. They have a lunch special before 4 p.m. that’s only $15, which is honestly hard to beat for the amount of food you get. The portion sizes are very large, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. We tried the tofu appetizer and it was surprisingly crunchy on the outside and very flavorful easily a standout. Everything came out fresh and satisfying. Overall, this is a spot I’d highly recommend,
This is definitely the best Korean place I’ve tried. The food tastes great. The portions are good. The beef bulgogi is flavorful and I enjoyed the sides that come with it.
My friend and I ordered delivery from here and it wasn't a bad spot in Astoria for Korean food! We got their soondubu and bulgogi combo as well as their seafood pancake. When the order came, we also received some banchan, which was really nice to enjoy with our meal. Portions were good, the bulgogi was well-seasoned, and the seafood pancake came with lots of seafood (I just wish the pancake also came with sauce). Would love to check this restaurant in store one day!
