Eatery doling out traditional Filipino prepared meals for breakfast, lunch, and dessert.
From Google Maps reviews.
I visited the food truck at the lantern festival this weekend in Montclair. The people working were so helpful and friendly, even though they were SWAMPED. My family purchased the ube buchi and the flan cake. THAT FLAN CAKE IS MY NEW FOOD OBSESSION!! We also LOVED the ube buchi! We warmed them up at home 🥰 they are chewy and filled generously, the toasty sesame seeds are perfectly crunchy. My family went back after we left the festival just to get the ube cake rolls filled with cream 😂 we need
Went to their pop up in union square. So much ube stuff which was fun! It’s very sweet. Very very sweet. And very oily. $6 for two pretty large items which isn’t bad. Solid gluten free dessert options.
Breakfast was not of good value. I should have read the reviews before coming. I regret getting my silog here. The staff is not clear as to what is included in the 2 dishes for breakfast. So when you go to the counter, you'll be in for a surprise with how much you'll pay. For the amount they charge, you'll get better value at the other Filipino restaurants in the area, for better food, bigger servings and better service.
