Here as a pit stop while in Woodside looking for an authentic Tibetan experience. It did not disappoint. None of the other tables spoke English (servers did). For food we got the chicken lollipops which were seasoned fine but lacked a level of crisp and char I'd expect on the dish. The momos (pork) were in a pickled soup sauce that was sour and peppery. The flavors were fine but the momo skins were thicker than I would prefer. Overall the meal was everything I expected but personally would not
Today I had a very disappointing experience at a Nepali restaurant in Woodside. Our food subtotal was only $68, which is completely fine. We understand and expect to pay tax. But on top of that, a 15% service charge ($10.20) was added, and then an additional amount was charged to my credit card, bringing the final total to $87.19. What’s concerning is that none of these extra charges were clearly explained or properly disclosed on the menu or beforehand. As customers, we deserve transparency.
Best Nepali Dhido thali i had in NYC. I tried goat sukuti with dhido which comes with the meat gravy soup. Loved it and we are going again for sure.
