This restaurant is, unfortunately, a completely incompetent establishment. The customer service is unacceptable, and the staff running it are consistently disorganized and unprofessional. I placed an order and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. An hour after they claimed to be open, I was then told they had not even started preparing the food yet. I adjusted and told them I would arrive at 12:30, which I did. When I got there, the door was locked. I called and was told to wait another 10
Honestly… hands down one of the best Haitian food at a restaurant I’ve had in Brooklyn since decades ago. Katou’s food is way better than Djon Djon restaurant. Now… is the service great? No. Actually… never. Does the restaurant need renovations? Absolutely. But the food… 🔥I’m going to come back every time. I will complain about the wait time but I will eat gloriously.
I found out about this place from my cousin. As a Latino I have tried all types of rice from mexican to traditional rice and beans from Puerto Rico and Dominican republic. Also let's not forget Cuba, never have Iv been so addicted to hatian rice in my life. I usually order party tray from them because my whole family takes home extra. All their food is amazing, as a Latino I approve this place!!
