I’d been wanting to come here for some time, and I’m so glad I finally did. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious, but the salmon appetizer was a standout. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Everyone, from the hostess to the waiters, were incredibly kind and attentive. They recommended most of my meal, and everything was spectacular. I’ll definitely be back!
The taste and presentation of every dish were easily 10/10. Every plate was beautifully presented, and you can tell a lot of care goes into both the quality and execution of the food. In my opinion, this is one of the best izakayas in Manhattan.
Kei Izakaya NYC was great! The place is so welcoming and the staff was very nice by checking in on me throughout the meal. This was my first time trying takoyaki and it was so good! The crunchiness balanced with the mashed potato and flavors well. The wontonmen was delicious! The chicken broth had depth of flavor that is one of the best I’ve had in NYC and the noddles had a nice chew.
