Small and cozy restaurant. Prices weren't too bad. Got the fried beef ribs which was flavorful and had a nice kick to it. Also tried the tsampa cake which is made from barley. It wasn't like cake in the traditional sense but more dense. It wasn't very sweet and had a more savory flavor but worked well with the ice cream served with it.
One of our favorite go to restaurants for home cooked styled meals. I've tried a large portion of their menu over the years. Beef or chicken momo are a great balance of juicy but not fatty. The bathuk and then thuk have a very comforting and clean taste, and I'm pretty sure the noodles are house-made. Liang fen w beef is another one of my favorites. Delicious Tibetan food right by the 74 street Jackson Heights train station. They have a breakfast menu that goes until 12 pm, and a lunch menu after that. Prices are very reasonable, service is good, and the ambiance is cozy and cute. The menu has enough variety that it's worth coming back multiple times to try more stuff.
