Kimgane is one of my favorite spots! I always go for the vegetable roll ramen or the pork cutlets, they’re both amazing! Plus, they serve complimentary miso soup, which is a nice touch. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait, but it’s usually no more than 15 minutes, which isn’t bad at all. Definitely recommend this place!
We had the Spicy Cream Tteokbokki (with an added pork cutlet on top) and the Pork Cutlet Udon!! The Tteokbokki is absolutely massive and we had plenty of left overs for the next morning. I still think about this Tteokbokki daily, it was heavenly. I quite literally transcended into another astral realm. I normally never wrote reviews but this made me want to write one for this place because the vibe and staff were awesome, the food was even better and it deserves high praise!! An absolute must!
I’ve dined at Kimganae multiple times. The atmosphere is perfect for those long lunches of enjoying food and talking. The servers were always patient and welcoming each time. The restaurant isn’t too big, so they’re pretty attentive when you need something. They start you off with miso soup, kimchi, and the option of hot or cold water. All free!
