I’ve been ordering from King Garden for well over a decade. I usually get the fried tofu and broccoli with garlic sauce, fried chicken wings or General Tso Chicken. What strikes me every time is how fresh the vegetables are, tasty and clean tasting (and not gloppy) the sauces are and fresh and pure the tofu is. Also, I love their egg rolls! Not too greasy - crunchy and flavorful. They know me by name now and we catch up about life when I come by. Very nice owners with pride of ownership! Anothe
One item from our order was missing. We ordered multiple meals and one appetizer, and the total was over $50, which strongly suggests we were charged for everything. When I called to calmly ask whether I had been charged or if it was a packing mistake, the person on the phone became defensive, would not let me explain, and hung up on me. I wasn’t accusing anyone, just trying to clarify. Mistakes happen, but this was handled very unprofessionally.
Love LOVE this place. I always have a hard time with Chinese takeout and this is my go to spot. They were closed I assume for reconstruction and every place I went to during the time didn’t feel as fresh or the same. Such an amazing spot and the staff is always so friendly :)
