The food as bad, really bad. I work close by & decided to try this place. So I bought a small plain Lo Mein, & I waited a pretty long time to receive the order. When I returned to my work place to eat, the Lo Mein was hard, hard as in barely cooked, almost uncooked. Sigh. The plate was also an extra small size, definitely not the size I’m used to when I order a small. Usually when I buy Chinese food in Astoria where I live, it’s pretty good. I’ve been going to King Chef for over 30 years. Their food was great, obviously since I stayed with them for so long. But the menu has changed. The food is down right inedible. Salt Lick, Salt Lick, Salt Lick!!!! The chicken wings which used to be the star of the menu, is now just a salt lick. Super tasty , fried chicken is still good 🔥🔥 Update: I do agree portion size is v small, I got 4 chicken wings over pork fried rice, but they separated it and the rice came in the small qt container Update 2: The chicken is well seasoned however the batter can be a bit too thick, it’s crunchy but thick , overall maybe 4/5 the flavor and fresh fry oil is there the batter it self can be better
