Great cozy spot. We got 3 types of sushi as part of their lunch special.
I only ever came here twice in my life, The second time with my son today. I’m definitely gonna come to dine here more. We were unaware that we came in 4 minutes before actual opening time, but the chef didn’t mind, and seated us immediately. He was quick and sufficient with our orders (house noodles - chicken, and two special sushi rolls) only took him about 10 minutes. Overall, he was Kind, and even got us to laugh when he encouraged my son to use chopsticks. 10/10 experience here.
Avg 3.5 stars but putting 3 because of overall experience. 4 stars for the sushi. 3 stars for everything else. If you’re looking for sushi only - here is fine. See below for more. Was in the Fordham/bronx area and looking for a good sushi spot. The area had a mix of places but this place seemed low key/hole in the wall-ish which I normally are the best spots, unfortunately I was wrong this time! Super bummed because I plan to be in the area and was really hoping it’d be one of my go-tos. Sushi
