Intimate setting with a singular focus on quality. The omakase was well paced and built towards a fantastic end. 10/10 and will be going back again in the future. The main course finale of toro, scallop, and wagyu was perfection. My favorite bite was surprisingly the scallop. It was unbelievably fresh and complex. The chef and host were incredibly nice and talked me through each bite as well as how they prepare each day to deliver a top experience.
What a special experience! Each piece was better than the next. Our seating was very small and intimate. The service was impeccable. Some highlights were the king salmon, Uni and yellowtail handroll. The owners are lovely and kind people and we so enjoyed talking with them. We will be back!!
Kizuna is one of the best omakase places in NYC. highly underrated and a hidden gem in the UES! BJ and Sharon are the best- so kind, so accommodating, and there’s a reason I keep coming back. (Well I’ve only gone twice.. but the second time I was curious to see if the quality was consistent and it was just as great as the first time!). The second time included an amazing chawanwushi, melon, oyster and a few new nigiri pieces. It’s BYOB which is so nice because you can just pick up some sake near
