Joyeux Mardi Gras! Purposely came here on this day to have some New Orleans style food with a unique, Asian twist to it (my attempt at paralleling it with the Lunar New Year which is also today). The place itself looks small but is slightly larger than it feels for you can get decent enough seating space for about 12 people and the restaurant itself was half filled when I came in. I love this place. The food itself is probably 4 stars but the warm service and cozy space (original location) and general feel good factor bumps it up for me. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Thank you to David and the staff for providing such a wonderful meal and memory. The blackened catfish bites were succulent and the perfect level of spicy. The two mains, galbi w/ gritz and ribs were tender, savory, and sweet. The dessert, pecan pie, was the perfect cherry on top to finish the meal. Incredible atmosphere, top notch food, and a properly warm and inviting team of staff make this restaurant a true Diamond in the Rough.
