This is my favorite katsu spot in nyc! I tried out some of their new dishes since my last visit (branzino with yakisoba and clam pasta) and my goto pork loin katsu. Katsu is as good as usual, golden and crispy and the noodle dishes were also fantastic! Highly recommend try out this spot! Plus, corn ice cream is such a fun and unique dessert to try out and it actually tastes like a corn 🌽
The food was so tasty and beautifully presented!! 10/10 recommend! You need to get the mazemen, the noodles are so fresh and the flavors all pair together so well. Also the yellowtail crudo was so refreshing!! The shrimp tempura was so crispy and the accompanying dipping sauces were delicious! You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!! The ambiance is so nice and peaceful for a spot in the heart of Chelsea. The service was great and everyone was so friendly. I will definitely be comin
Konban was fantastic. We had such a great meal, and everything we ordered was memorable—the katsu was perfectly crisp, the mackerel was flavorful and well-prepared, and the clam pasta was a standout. A special shoutout to Boz, our server, who made the experience even better. He was warm, attentive, and gave us genuinely great service throughout the night. Great food, great atmosphere, and great hospitality. We’ll definitely be back.
