The food is great. The stew chicken was amazing. Get extra sauce!!!! Though if you aren’t familiar by looks, there is no labels. Simply ask though and they’ll tell ya. We got a medium combo plate. Rice beans. Plantain. Mac salad. And it was ALOT. Though the protein portion could use some work. Though far from home, I’d trek back out for the food. Seating is limited. Maybe 3 tables. So be prepared to take it to go.
Horrible service. The servers have attitudes like they don't even appreciate their jobs. This was my first time and probably the last. I admire service and quality hand in glove.. So the attitude level is on GORDON RAMSEY, yet the food was Bodega quality. I ordered a Fried Pork Large Complete Platter and I Got mostly skin and inedible parts, veins, gristle, etc. I included pictures. I have to tell you, this place has some of the worst service you have ever experienced. Horrible. The food is good - that’s why I gave 2 stars. But the people serving you are just not good. There are times no gloves are used to prepare your food, they whisper when trying to cater to you (and there is loud music in the place), and they almost always act board trying to serve you.
