Was always intrigued with revolving eateries and am glad I had a chance to try this one out while in the Flushing area. Located on the first floor of the Tangram Mall. Seated by host, but seemingly there is a kiosk available for busier days. You can also make a reservation in advance...I can see how a place like this can get busy during peak lunch or dinner hours. First time trying Kura Sushi in the US. Much pricier when compared to Japan but pretty much tastes the same. I went today because of the HSR collab and snagged me some of the featured merch. Decent sushi but loved the taiyaki with ice cream. Definitely worth the experience if you've never been before!
We were seated at the bar and love the option of a revolving belt of sushi items. It sounds like a great idea. There was a large party upriver where items were released. Most of the items didn’t make it to our side. We tried placing orders instead. Each seat has a screen to use for ordering drinks or food. The plates were made promptly and delivered but appeared smaller than the regular ones on the belt. Ramen noodles was good but came in a very small portion like cup noodles size. This is good
