L’imprimerie is a small café that’s easy to miss but really nice once you’re inside. The space is tiny, cozy, and has that simple rustic bakery feel where everything looks fresh and made in-house. It’s my first time here, and it already feels like one of those spots I’ll keep coming back to just to try more of what they offer. I have been buying and enjoying their pastries for years. Their King Cake was nice. However, L’Imprimerie ripped me and any other customer who purchased a Miche loaf from them on New Years Eve. They were burnt. Not well-done or rustic, completely bitter and inedible. To spend $15 for something to go in the garbage was a waste.
Tried the guava croissant and the cardamon lemon bun. They are $6.50 a piece. Loved the crisp exterior and the soft interior. The guava filling was just under a spoon. It was more of a crispy croissant. The cardamom lemon bun was amazing. The whole bun was glazed with this flavor and tasted great.
