Stumbled upon this place by chance and was really impressed. I tried the pan queso and the bunuelos. Both were delicious and freshly made. Also grabbed an iced coffee, which hit the spot. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for a café. Definitely worth a visit!
I only discovered this place a few months ago after living this neighborhood for few years. Their cheese bread is the best discovery of the year! It’s subtle sweet cheese bread is my favorite thing every morning. Also who can best this price for something so tasty in 2024 in New York? Big kudos to friendly staff :)
Casual, spacious Colombian bakery and Dominican restaurant, all in one. La Casa del Sabor has Colombian baked goods prepared and baked on premises (you can literally see the oven towards the back of venue). They offer Colombian beverages in the fridge, including Pony Malta. Their breads are fresh in the morning. Their actual cooked meals are Dominican.
